Very cool to visit Shirley's geoduck farm where we also found tons of clams and oysters. In the background are piles of tube sections which are driven into the sand to protect the baby geoducks for a few years. Although they can live up to 180 years, they are harvested every 5 years and sold to Asian markets at a premium.
