Roche Harbor

Portugal is a litte ambitious at this point. I'm not ready to set sail for SE Alaska or the canal yet either, but now the sailboat is seaworthy and tested, why not make this the goal for the summer with the girls?

See more photos from the recent binge at the Swantown Boatworks. Weeks of hard work which have taken their toll on my hands, and face (and hair). Despite efforts to keep the stuff off me, large globs of resin set up in what little hair I have and force me to cut it all off.

A boat is NOT just a hole in the water into which we throw money. It is possibly a place to live and learn. Steeped in metaphor, life on the sea has lured me for over twenty years now.
