Summers almost up so while we can still eat outside, we grabbed breakfast on the patio at The Bair Drug & Hardware Store, founded in 1895. Today this early town post office and general store operates as a casual restaurant. A variety of pharmacy and hardware relics are on display and milkshakes are still made the old-fashioned way at its 1906-vintage soda fountain.Amanda is on the 'pre" gym team at the Y but I think we'll skip practice to go on an adventure. What to do next as we try to cram as much as life has to offer into the next couple days? Before I cut my foot, I wanted to do some car camping in Mt Rainier National Park which is really only about a half hour drive from here. A friend who has travelled all over the world said that this Ohanapecosh campground is as nice as he's ever seen. Maybe we'll take a drive up there and scope it out today.
